The seasons in the Kamberg, located in the Central Drakensberg, offer two unique weather experiences, each with its own charm.

Summer (November to February) brings lush green landscapes, warmer temperatures, and afternoon thunderstorms, creating a vibrant atmosphere perfect for outdoor activities like hiking, birdwatching, and fly-fishing. The cooler temperatures create crisp, clear days ideal for hiking, with less humidity and stunning panoramic views of snow-capped mountains. While the region is less crowded, the golden light and frosty mornings create the perfect atmosphere for enjoying the peaceful beauty of the landscape, especially for photography and wildlife spotting.
