Taking all our lived experience in service, now is the opportunity for us to cater in the place we call home.Far away from city lights, a stones throw away from a number of site-seeing adventures, we hope to elevate the Valley in all its beauty, and in doing so, support our local community, who rely on tourism to earn a living in this rural setting.
We have a passion for nature, and hope to bring nature in to our space, as we continue to landscape our gardens to further enrich your stay.

Molweni Kamberg Valley is a farm-style bed & breakfast located in the Central Drakensberg, with beautiful views across the Kamberg region and Giants Castle mountain. Since the Kamberg is conveniently located in the Central Drakensberg, day trips to Sani Pass, Giants Castle or Northern Drakensberg are all possible.
The word ‘Molweni’ is a Xhosa greeting, used to greet multiple people. Molweni Bed and Breakfast is an idyllic location for anyone looking to unwind and reconnect with nature.

Nestled in the heart of the Kamberg Valley, the property was built in the late 19th century as a trading hub for residents of the Kamberg Valley. Molweni Bed & Breakfast is set in beautiful gardens, providing a safe, private getaway, while its central location provides attractions in all directions. The B&B is situated on the same site as the Kamberg Valley Store, built in 1890. Kamberg Valley Store will soon be reopening, along with it’s fuel station, supplying 95 unleaded petrol and 50ppm diesel.
Accommodation comprises five beautiful rooms, all en-suite. Three bedrooms have a super view of Giants Castle. Double or single beds are available and linen, towels and electric blankets are provided. The lounge has a TV with USB access and a fire place.
A full hearty English breakfast is provided with freshly baked homemade bread. By prior arrangement, vegetarian and vegan breakfasts can be provided. We also provide a meal of the day should you wish to have dinner with us. Alternatively dinners can be enjoyed at local restaurants in Nottingham Road (40kms away).
The surrounding farmlands, beautiful large trees and views of the mountains help to create a very tranquil and peaceful environment at the B & B.
Our stay at Molweni Kamberg BnB was nothing short of magical. The host, an incredible woman with a beautiful personality and great passion, made our experience truly special. We only stayed for one night, but we left wishing we could stay forever. From the moment we arrived, she suggested the best activities for us to enjoy, making our time there unforgettable. The BnB’s location is perfect, with nature right in your backyard. It’s the ideal spot to unwind and reconnect with nature. The food was absolutely delicious, adding to the overall wonderful experience. I highly recommend Molweni Kamberg BnB to anyone looking for a serene and memorable getaway.
